CANNON HILL PARK

Cannon Hill Park is located on the outskirts of the city centre and is hugely popular. It has several lakes and ponds, large wooded and open grass areas. It is home to the Midland's Arts Centre (MAC) and a brand new multi-million pound mini golf centre. For the last decade the park has received 'Green Flag' status for best British green spaces.

DID YOU KNOW...
Birmingham is the city trees, it has 6 million, 6 for every person, and claims to have more than Paris. To the south west of the city is the 'sea of trees' and is a vast area that can be seen from miles around encompassing Edgbaston, Harborne, Moseley, and Kings Heath from where the city centre looks like it is surrounded by a huge green moat.  It has emergent tower blocks dotted around that gives a different perception of the 'urban jungle' than is often associated with the city.
